HOW IT STARTED

SIAssistance (Swan International Assistance) took on the specific domain of international travel insurance to offer travelers the best possible insurance policies available that are customizable to their needs. Sometimes a traveler might be in need of a little help with locations, medical help, or urgent information, and this is where the assistance services come in. With its variety of insurance policies and assistance services, SIA has made international travel easier and more secure for customers’ trips, no matter where they go.
Our story began in 2001, but our company has only grown with increasingly attractive medical and travel insurance services managed by professional customer service executives, doctors and logistics experts using the best-in-industry technology infrastructure. INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
After SIA flourished in Lebanon, we expanded to our first international headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
Erbil in Iraq was our next successful destination in our journey. We opened our branch in 2013 and expanded to represent a great number of insurance agents in the area. In 2017, Jordan has been added to the SIA offices and in January 2020, we landed in Bahrain after a quick take-off in the previous year from Kuwait and Qatar.
Today, a step forward has been made towards Europe with a new entity in the European Union: Cyprus.
With the growing demand for reliable insurance agencies, we were able to extend our reach to Abidjan in the Ivory Coast. Abidjan has become the stepping-stone for further development and expansion in Africa as we have expanded further to Benin, Senegal, Congo, Nigeria, Chad, and Gabon.
